The S-Bahn urban train connects most areas of Berlin. Trains are second most popular form of transportation after bikes. Berlin is one of few places where you are allowed to bring your bike to the train. People use the combination of two to get to any neighbourhood they need. Trains pass every 15 minutes or so. Connections are so well made that apart of huge size of Berlin, car is not necessarily needed.
