When travelling from Germany through France, one stop was mandatory and that is Paris. Another area and place we visited where the area of the Gorges of Tarnes southern France.

Cities in France

France offers such a variety of places that it has become one of the most visited countries in the world. Northern France offers areas like Normandy with famous and beautiful Mont St. Michel, and fantastic beaches in Deauville, southern France has the spectacular area of La Provence with its small villages, Cannes world known for its film festival, Marseille, Carcasonne, et.

The valley of the Loire in the center of France offers amazing castles or chateaus and towns.And of course the splendour of Paris, magnificent capital and known as the city of light, offers impressive architecture, and is considered the most beautiful capitals in the world.

Paris

When we were visiting Paris we stayed most of the time around the areas of Belleville and Canal St. Martin, this areas are a little bit more alternative with little independent cinemas, cozy cafés, interesting graffiti and little galleries, we really liked it and it very much differs of the grandiose centre of Paris, where the Opera house lies, the cathedral, the big train stations, etc.
