Holidays in Faro
Faro is a small town located in Southern Portugal close to Spanish border. Punta Faro area is a known tourist location, primarily due to fine beaches and warm weather. Good weather in Faro starts in March; in April temperatures get really worm, enough to spend the day in the beach.
Faro tourist information
If you’ll decide to travel to Faro we would recommend visiting one of towns oldest streets - Rua Sao Francisco. There you will find very old buildings, pubs and interesting graffiti.
We wouldn’t recommend staying in Faro town, it is very provincial. There are few tourist attractions and places to go out. However the surroundings are perfect to spend passive holidays.
